Musical Director    Denise Beynon

After receiving a music degree at the University of Bristol, Denise played the viola professionally both at home and abroad. She eventually settled in Manchester and has been teaching, conducting, playing and singing in the North West in a vast mixture of settings. In the local community Denise organises termly orchestral "playdays" where players of all ages get together and work on music of intermediate levels to enhance their ensemble skills and also enjoy the social side of amateur music making.

Accompanist   Rosalind Hall
After studying at Manchester and Dartington Hall, Rosalind worked in music publishing and as Personal Assistant to the Artistic Director of the Edinburgh Festival. She was also the initiator and pianist for the Balmoral Opera Group which gave performances of Mozart operas up and down the country, sometimes in places where opera had never been heard before. Ten years ago she returned to accompanying and chamber music. Since then she has worked with singers and instrumentalists in Britain, France and Italy. For the past three years Rosalind has been director and pianist for the Preggio Opera in Umbria where she will return this summer to perform Cosi fan Tutte.
She has been the accompanist for the Gatley Choral Society for three years. As a singer she has sung with the BBC Northern Singers, Bach Choir, LSO Chorus and she is a member of the William Byrd Singers and Convivia.
